Environmental Design : Background Research of Chosen Brand - Axiata

For the assignment 1, we are required to choose a brand / product / service and then do a background research as to understand the company’s product/brand or service and design a branding at bus stop for it. Below is the details and background research that I have done for my chosen brand - Axiata.

Environmental Design : Bus Stop Research

Several Bus Stop Design Research : 

Figure 1 :  An interesting bus stop design that weighing the 
weight of the passenger  who sit on the  platform.

Figure 2 : A Sprite advertisement bus stop design showcasing
 the theme on the advertisement which is "mad about TV" 
by sampling the sitting platform as a sofa. It does make 
the passenger look like sit in their own house. 

Figure 3 :  The normal sitting platform is replace by elegant
 chairs to suit the whole aristocratic feel of the bus stop.

Figure 4 : An oven-like design for the bus stop for fast food
advertisement. 

Figure 5 : 3M Security Glass advertisement bus stop design.
The designer put all the cash inside the 3M security glass
and make it as the side wall of the bus stop to show that
how safe is it of the product.

Figure 6 : One of my favourite bus stop design within all my research,
 it a kind of awareness design to propagate the social issue -
violence happen when no one is watching.

Figure 7 : This is a courier post service advertisement bus stop.
The side wall of the bus stop being design like an envelope and
the place for stamp is a mirror. Passenger who stand near
 to it will be look like becoming the stamp of this envelope. 

Figure 8 : Another favourite bus stop design of me. It is an Coca-Cola
advertisement bus stop design. Designer is clever enough to use magic
sticky as the material for the side board for the bus stop. Passengers
who stand near to it will be stick to the side board and automatically
will be direct to saw the advertisement. 

Figure 9 : Another Coca-Cola bus stop design. Whole bus stop
designed in a icy feel that make user think of the cold drink in
the refrigerator.

Figure 10 : The whole concept of the bus stop is consistent and
clear to show the product/brand.

Figure 11 : The design of this bus stop very attract the attention of
the passers-by. And it clearly show the product and brand.

Figure 12 :  It's so surprise that this bus stop was in Malaysia.
This bus stop features boards with bubble wrap with the
 PSP control symbol on it. It is possible to make most of the
passengers miss the bus because of focusing on pressing
 the bubble wrap !

Figure 13 : It is creative enough to replace the sitting platform
as a swing. I think most of us will be very happy while
waiting for the bus to come.

Figure 14 : An Eco-friendly bus stop design which save the
electric for the signboard. There is a switch for passengers
to switch on and off the light of the signboard to have a look.

Figure 15 : A simple yet creative design for bus stop. The back of the
sitting platform is a mirror which reflected out the McDonald logo.
